Family Hypoxylaceae DC.

Flore française 2: 280 (1805). Emended by M. Stadler & L. Wendt in Wendt et al. 2017

Type: Hypoxylon Bull., Histoire des champignons de la France. I: 168 (1791)

This family was recently ressurected and updated in Wendt et al. (2018) after phylogenetic work of Daranagama et al. (2017). Both of these papers have good illustrations. The genera in this family are listed below.
