Genus Cerrena Gray

Type: Sistotrema cinereum Pers., Neues Magazin für die Botanik 1: 109 (1794) [superfluus name], synonym of Cerrena unicolor (Bull.) Murrill, Journal of Mycology 9 (2): 91 (1903)

This genus includes one widespread species.

  5. Cerrena unicolor, Europe, North America, and elsewhere
  6. Cerrena zonata, Nepal
The taxon Cerrena drummondii (Klotzsch) Zmitr. is apparently treated currently as Trametes drummondii (Klotzsch) Ryvarden [name illegitimate]. None of the other name transfers by Zmitrovich into Cerrena are used.
