Unplaced Genera in Polyporales
[Incertae sedis]
These genera form various clades that are not yet placed into monophyletic families.
Most are in the antrodia clade but Spongipellis sensu stricto (Type Species Sp. spumeus) is part of the residual clade.
The other Spongipellis
are in the family Cerrenaceae (including Sp. pachyodon). Most of these genera are not known for the Chicago Region; present here are Sarcoporia polyspora and Spongipellis spumeus.
